Today on June 28 Tokyo holds a Parade devoted to Vyshyvanka (the Ukrainian traditional clothing with ethnic embroidery), as the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine informs.
In 2014 the event will be held in Ginza Area. The solemn procession will start from the Mizutanibashi Park (gathering at 13:00), which is located close to the Ginza station and Tokyo, and will move towards Shibuya Park. Traditionally the event will continue with socializing and singing Ukrainian songs in the park. Organizers of the event are Ukrainian community in Japan Kraiany with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan and mission of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
In Tokyo Vyshyvanka Parade first was held in 2013 on the initiative of Ukrainian students of the Tokyo Agricultural University. In 2013 the event attracted more than 70 Ukrainians living in Japan as well as the Japanese interested in Ukraine. The event took place in Shibuya district, the route passed through the intersection at the famous Shibuya station and Hachikō Square.

Let’s start with the fact that word «two» sounds as «nie», translating into Japanese.
