The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Starting from June 15 advertising industry professionals from around the world come together for the seven-day festival to share experiences and celebrate the outstanding work of members of the global creative industry.

The key event of the week on the Cote d'Azur will be the Awards Ceremony where the winners of the Cannes Lions Awards are announced and celebrated. The best of the best are awarded with Bronze, Silver, Gold Lions and Grand Prix under the categories: Film Lion, Press Lion, Outdoor Lion, Direct Lion, Media Lion, Radio Lion, Cyber Lion, Promo Lion, Integrated Lion, Design Lion, Entertainment Lion and Mobile Lion.

The Festival delegates celebrate achievements not only in the field of promotional products, but also innovations in associated area of technical development.


The Festival also presents an annual award in the category Media Network of the Year, Agency of the Year, and the Best Production Studio of the Year.

Various seminars, workshops, training courses and social events are arranged for those involved in creative communication.

Today the festival has offices in 75 countries. Organizer of Cannes Lions is a company Emap International, which also holds the European Advertising Festival EuroBest.
