On June 20, a diplomatic reception on the occasion of Independence Day and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders was held in the Column Hall of the Kyiv City State Administration.

In the column hall of the Kyiv City Hall, an event was organized timed for the upcoming Independence Day, which is celebrated in the country in early July.

A press conference was organized in Kyiv with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol. The conference was dedicated to the exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers "MADE IN BELARUS", which will be carried out on April 10-14, 2018 in Kyiv. Apart from that, they will cover the development of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Republic of Belarus.

In Kyiv academic theater of drama and comedy under support of Embassy of Belarus to Ukraine and Kyiv city governmental administration it was the play ‘Marriage contract’ of Minsk Film Actor’s Studio Theater. The performance was going in the frame of the tour in Ukraine.

In Kyiv national academic theater of operetta there was a performance of Belorussian national honored choreographic ensemble ‘Haroshki’ with the new program ‘Paletnad chasam’. The concert organized by the Embassy of Belarus in the course of European trip and arrangement of auction ‘Belarus Day’ in the day before Independence Day in the country.

On the 15-th – 16-th of May 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic Belarus in Ukraine Igor Sokol visited Lviv region in the frame of which the meeting with the head of Lviv regional national administration Oleg Sinyutko and Mayor of Lviv Andrii Sadoviy.

The Embassy of Republic Belarus in Ukraine and personally Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Igor Sokol organized and led in Kyiv an official evening dedicated to the creativity of the prominent classical writers of the literature of our countries, particularly, Yanka Kupala and Taras Shevchenko.
