An event Feel Slovenia took place in the capital of Ukraine as a part of the OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL 2019, it was aimed at promoting bilateral co-operation between countries and diverse presentation of Slovenia in Ukraine.

Looking through thousands of photos capturing the bright emotions of our guests, again and again we recall that day, filled with vivid colours, pleasant meetings and merry laughter. Today, together with you, we would like once again recall the OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL 2017.

On the 7-th of October from 12.00 till 4 pm in Column hall of Kyiv city council (Khreschatik Street, 36) there will be the fourth festival of international communities’ cultures known as OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL. We will represent more than 40 reflections of different cultures to come into stage. We expect more than 30 embassies of foreign states and expat communities will take part. The festival is annually organized by the project OUTLOOK working in the scope of mass media and cultural diplomacy.

OUTLOOK, as a project that operates in the sphere of culture diplomacy and seeks opening Ukraine to the world and world to Ukrainians, joined in a large-scale event that is held in Kyiv these days - Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Upon invitation of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine we held a show of both ancient and modern Ukrainian outfits «Ukrainian Embroidery. Step in Time» for foreign journalist, who had come to Ukraine to cover the epic event. Nowadays just like centuries ago, embroidery remains an integral part of style of Ukrainians. On May 4 at IA Ukrinform (official location for foreign mass media that came for Eurovision) show of both ancient and modern Ukrainian outfits called “Ukrainian Embroidery. Step in Time” was held.

Folk costume is one of traditional cultural symbols. Diverstiry of colors, adornment elements and decoration styles reflect inimitble nature of every nation. Ukrainians managed to get acquianted with distinctive features of traditional fashion thank to OUTLOOK Project, Institute of Interational Relations and Development Fund of the Institute of Internatinal Relations as well as 22 embassies of foreign states accredited in Ukraine. Silks and velvet, rhinestones and seed bead, patterns and ornaments have been combined in the colorful dance of cultures at one platform in the course of OUTLOOK SHOW: Fashion of the Nation. Under the support of 22 embassies of foreign states in Ukraine the event was organized by OUTLOOK project, Institute of International Relations, and Fund of development of Institute of International Relations.

OUTLOOK Project that operates in the sphere of culture diplomacy will hold a show of national costumes of peoples the world OUTLOOK SHOW. Fashion of the Nation. Over 20 embassies to Ukraine will present best looks from traditional costumes of their countries in the show.

OUTLOOK Project, bringing together peoples and nations, strives to makes this world more kind and its representatives more attentive to each other. We sincerely believe that mutual respect is a key to dealing with many conflicts, troubles and misunderstandings of the world of today.

It isn’t hard at all to make world around better and brighter. All you need is to have a sincere desire and to find like-minded people for help. OUTLOOK was created three years ago as a project both about and for the world and OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL, founded by our team, became a graphic example of how ideas of good are put into practice.

Thank to OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL for nearly entire day of June 18 Column Hall of Kyiv City State Administration transformed into an international platform or maybe even some sort of large-scale transportation hub where one could easily exchange tickets with representatives of other countries and travel to explore their homelands instantly.

OUTLOOK International Project that operates in the sphere of culture diplomacy, launched a culture and education project Diplomatic Greetings aimed at getting Ukrainian students, future culture experts and philologists, acquainted with distinctive features of cultures and traditions of various countries of the world.

On the 18-th of June, 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Hall of Columns of Kyiv City State Administration (Khreshchatyk Street, 36) the third annual festival of international cultures OUTLOOK WORLD CULTURE FESTIVAL will take place.
