We were there: Budapest is an underground, aesthetics and recovery city

Автор: 22.08.2019 | travel, we were there, Hungary
The creative copywriter Masha Goldman travel around half a planet. The girl can compare travels with the useful drug. Masha tells that every trip, even the shortest and least far gives her complete renewal of powers and it seems that the new life begins.

Certainly, every new city gives her specific accomplishment. Today she shared with us the ‘raisins’ of Hungarian capital, particularly, what is worth seeing there, what should be compulsory done and what has to be eaten, for sure!

There are two Budapests…

Hungarians officially divide their capital into two cities, Budu and Pest. There are rocky Western part on the right bank of Danube and flat Eastern part with the main landmarks and center. Maria has been to this center twice, and in each trip it seemed in another way. Conditionally Budapest could be divided to day and night city:

-It seems for me that here everybody will find out what he is searching for, the girl starts her narration. – One needs to recover and walk along the beautiful city, so, Budapest will give you such opportunity. For those who would like to hand out, Hungarian capital is a perfect variant, indeed.

I come back better from any trips than I used to be.Photo travelask.ru

I can say that I am absolutely independent tourist. I reach my destinations not framing me out with the travel group or planned bus trip because in such a way you will not feel the world. I go alone, communicate with local people, by cut and trial method I try to find out restaurants, landmarks, and specific entertainments.

As for that, specific raisin of Budapest is that there the whole Europe is walking. Here one is able to speak to the tourists from the majority of countries. Here you get familiar with so many things, see so much and discover a lot, and it makes you better and newer. In general, one needs to travel, certainly, is gives you some self-development and fun.shutterstock_1078814498.0.jpgPhoto eater.com

Budapest is compared with Prague for the name of ‘Club capital of Europe’. Here, for example, every day one may see the celebration of guys-only or girls-only parties. All Europe come here so as to have a good time before the wedding! The reasons are that it is cheap enough, there are a lot of bars, and the art atmosphere is quite interesting.

It is really the city of sins, European Las Vegas! However, in the meantime it is rather affordable and with such exciting parties! There is international and friendly audience, in general, the total fun and movement.

In my opinion, Hungary is not so rich for the landmarks. There is a famous Hungarian parliament which stands out vividly at all the postcards or photos of the country. As the entertainment one may come to it walking along the embankment. Further from the parliament there is a pedestrian bridge, the Freedom Bridge that leads to another side of the city. Crossing it, you raise to the castle Vaidahunyad. It is the castle that is very beautiful and interesting in the way of mixture of architectural style in surrounding of the luxury park.

There are very beautiful views on the city. One is able to take wonderful photos from the bridge both in the afternoon and at night. Nevertheless, they go to Budapest not with this purpose.budapest-parliament.jpgPhoto brusselsairlines.com

Get there to taste rose from ice-cream

The specific unique symbol of Budapest is the ice-cream ‘Gelarto Rosa’. The main thing that should be done here is to taste it.

It is the only café of ice-cream with such a taste in the world. ‘Gelarto Rosa’ is situated in the verily center near the embankment and Hungarian parliament, at the Square of heroes. In this truly exciting place there is the tastiest ice-cream in the world. There is a very huge queue. However, for the sake of such a delicacy one has to stand in any queues even for an hour or two! In addition to its incredibly delicious taste and quality (many tastes from natural ingredients without any artificial supplements), they look aesthetically. The ice-cream has different flavors which you choose and is framed with such petals that as the result there is a colorful rose in the horn. It is so beautiful that it is a pity to eat it. I remembered this place from the first side, and when I was there for the second time, I came there to eat an ice-cream especially.19441932_1505082522846975_4945314251282854085_o.jpgPhoto welovebudapest.com

The ruins transformed into incredible art-bars

The special subtlety of entertaining life of Budapest is the amazing bars in ruins. It is sad, certainly, that the city was susceptible for the damage of war as the central part was almost completely bombed. However, Hungarians succeeded in transforming that in the ‘raisin’ of their capital. Intentionally, they reconstructed not everything but left many buildings in the view of ruins and transformed them in unusual bars like art-objects.

Once you go along the street of Budapest, you see the façade of the usual residential building, but, entering its inner yard, you appear in unreal mega-bar in several floors. The strange walls, many rooms, decorations described in a complicated manner. For example, instead of the sofa the old sawn bathroom with the soft pillows is used while instead the cocktail table there is rare car. The inflatable woman on the wall, lamp shade, the chairs staying randomly represent absolutely insane design, however, it is so atmospheric and unusual that you get stunned. It will be full of people from different countries and represent boundlessly bright party.20170713_175212.jpg

Unique thermal waters

It is so important to visit in Budapest famous for all the world and unique thermal baths Szechenyi. It is the whole healing and recovering complex with a great deal of swimming pools. I will say that it is very cool to get recovered from the partying. In the evening there are bars while in the afternoon you can visit Szechenyi. This ideal combination is the original spa-program for holiday-makers.Photo turuturu.ru

However, what is another ‘raisin’ of Szechenyi? In the afternoon it could be perceived as the spa-complex for retired people. Mainly, there is an audience that is older and there are many children, but there is even youth. Nevertheless, at night once a week, on Saturdays, these thermal swimming pools transform into pool parties, particularly, parties in the swimming pools. They are the most faerie parties I have ever been to in my life. There is true break-away, something like Kazantip or Ibiza, but it happens only in the swimming pool. The entering ticket is not cheap, by the way. The tickets at such party cost nearly 60-70 euro. This amount included towel, special slippers, your personal changing room and a couple of basic cocktails. Verily in the swimming pool DJ plays on the top. In the swimming pool the foam is pouring, it is surrounded by the bars from all the sides where one should swim, and there is a cool music. It was so cute that I will not forget about that for all my life!
