In the central place of ‘Ukrpost’ there was a delivery of contract Record on inclination to produce the common Bulgarian and Ukrainian stamp in the connection with twenty fifth summer jubilee from the moment of establishment of diplomatic relations between Republic Bulgaria and Ukraine.
The document was signed by the director of specialized department ‘Bulgarian philately and numismatics’ included in ‘Bulgarian post’ Stanislav Dochev and General director of ‘Ukrpost’ Igor Smelyanskyy, in the presence of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic Bulgaria to Ukraine Krasimir Minchev, the diplomats of Bulgarian embassy, Emilia Facheva, the member of council of directors of ‘Bulgarian post’ and workers of Ukrainian administration.
During the next meeting between the representatives of ‘Bulgarian post’ and ‘Ukrpost’ they reached agreement in a range of the aspects of the process of stamp press as well as concerning the agreement term of it revision – May 2017. In the course of negotiations between the Ambassador Krasimir Minchev and General director of ‘Ukrpost’ Igor Smelyanskyy they came up with the idea of production of the common stamp on the occasion of 100-th anniversary since the moment of establishment of diplomatic relations between Republic Bulgaria and Ukraine. (In 1918, the Kingdom Bulgaria confirmed Ukrainian independence after delivery of Brest-Litovsk agreement and directed its first Ambassador to Kyiv Ivan Shishmanov).
It is planned to choose the appropriate topic which is to be visually depicted at the production of jubilee stamp. The Ambassador Krasimir Minchev acclaimed the awarding for the best proposal directed till 31.12.2016 at the email of Embassy of Republic Bulgaria to Ukraine: embassy.kiev@mfa.bg
