Ambassadors of Foreign States Take Part in 23rd Charity Fair

Stands of embassies from all the continents were presented on the fair: Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Moldova, Pakistan, Romania, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Turkey, USA and many others.
Numerous guests of the fair were treated with dishes and drinks of national cuisines: Swiss cheese, Iraqi sweets, British Christmas pudding, Georgian wine, Scottish whiskey. Alongside that, everyone who felt like it, could purchase goods from all over the world: delights, make-up, clothes and simple souvenirs to remember.
Ukrainian craftsmen presented their work at the market, too. Embroidered shirts from Poltava region, souvenir crockery, bead strings and other adornments as well as national cuisine dishes were available.
In addition, the fair provided for culture program. During the day on stage of the Olympic Court talents with dancing and singing routines performed to present distinctive characters of orchestrator countries of the fair.
Traditionally, Inernational Women’ Club gave all the money earned during the fair for the benefit of the indigent women and children, people with disabilities and elderly people. This year special attention was dedicated to migrants who now live in Kyiv and its vicinity.
