Official reception in Kyiv in honor of 25-th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Romania and Ukraine
Having greeted the guests, the Head of diplomatic mission wished everybody the pleasant and exciting evening. He made an emphasis on the fact that during 25 years of diplomatic relations between our countries the range of economic, social, and cultural projects has been implemented. Romanian side highly estimates the collaboration with Ukraine. It is intended to work further successfully.
The heads of diplomatic missions and representatives of the embassies of Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Palestine, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Pakistan, Georgia, Afghanistan, Japan, Israel, Croatia, Australia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Macedonia, Turkey, representatives of the church, authorities, and business circles came to express their respect to Mr Ambassador that evening.
Also, in the course of event Mr Turcanu represented the exhibition of works of the artists-members of Baia Mare business unit of Artists Union of Romania, the only professional guildship in the country in the area of visual art.
There is an interesting fact that Romanian city Baia Mare is the symbol of visual arts in Central and Eastern Europe because in 1896 here the artist Galoshi Simon founded ‘School of art in Baia Mare city’ where artists from the region came to visit the plein-air. As the result, the city became one of the most picturesque in the world.
The visual material represented at the exhibition consists of the abstract compositions along with the classic landscapes, imaginary and realistic components, etc. The exhibition is the tribute to the classics of Romanian art. It is the support for the young promising masters.
